Overview
We are hiring an L1 Hardware Technician to support our internal IT and infrastructure needs.
Role Requirements
- The ideal candidate should be an all-rounder with hands-on experience across the following areas:
- CCTV Camera installation, configuration & troubleshooting
- Networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, gateways)
- Laptop & desktop hardware repair and maintenance
- Mobile phone troubleshooting- Printer & scanner setup and support
- Structured cabling & trunk/patch management
- Internet connectivity issues & ISP coordination
- General IT infrastructure support
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- Good understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, IT Support, or similar certifications.
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT asset management tools.
- Exposure to Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or endpoint management solutions.
