Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communications skills. Bilingual – English and Spanish
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Previous prep or line cook experience.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team environment, work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
• This position will spend 100% of the time standing.
• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
• The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Completes job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with Casa Rio policies and procedures.
• Provide or obtain Texas Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.
