HJH Holding is hiring a motivated Kitchen Commis Chef to join its kitchen team.
Experience and knowledge
- Previous experience as a commis chef in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food production environment is required.
- Three to five years of relevant kitchen experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen operations is required.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures is required.
- Food Handling/Health Certificate is an advantage.
Kitchen capabilities
- Candidates should be able to assist with food preparation, cutting, portioning, and plating.
- Candidates should be able to follow recipes, instructions, and portion-control standards.
- Experience in International, Mediterranean, Continental, or high-volume restaurant kitchens is preferred, depending on the assigned outlet.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills are requested.
Work environment and schedule
- The role is in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Candidates should be physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the chef and kitchen team with daily food preparation.
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
Pay
- Pay is up to QAR 2,550 per month.

- Work location is in person.
