Instructor Role

Responsibilities

• Follow the schedule, arrive prepared, review lesson plans, and comply with site expectations.
• Deliver standards-aligned instruction that develops critical thinking, problem-solving, and enjoyment of learning.
• Manage instructional materials and deliver programs from Nexplore's curriculum collection.
• Communicate with the Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Participate in family engagement efforts and support student access to programs.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher is required.
• Experience working with children and educational development or training experience are required.
• Two or more years of teaching or instructing experience are preferred.
• A teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are required.

Requirements

• The instructor must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Mandatory training must be completed.

Schedule Details

• The assignment is in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, on Mondays and Fridays.
• Classes are scheduled from September through December 2026 for K-5 students.
• The listed programs are Cooking and Nutrition, Pottery, BrickLAB, and Magic.

Compensation

• Compensation is $60 per hour of class.
• Compensation is paid per class or assignment, including mini camps and field trips.
