About Nexplore

Nexplore provides after-school, in-school, and summer STEAM, life skills, and fitness enrichment programs across the United States.

Instructor Role

The instructor delivers high-quality, in-person STEM, digital technology, art, life skills, and fitness instruction as assigned.

The role includes preparing lessons and teaching students from PreK through grade 12, depending on the assignment.

The instructor reports to a Program Success Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the provided schedule, arrive prepared, and comply with site expectations.
  • Deliver standards-aligned instruction that develops critical thinking, problem solving, and joy in learning.
  • Manage instructional materials and communicate with the Program Success Manager and site personnel.
  • Adapt instruction through relevant accommodations and extensions.
  • Participate in family engagement efforts and support student access to programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • An associate degree or higher is required.
  • Experience working with children and educational, development, or training experience are required.
  • Two or more years of teaching or instructing experience are preferred.
  • A teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
  • Full schedule commitment, reliable transportation, and mandatory training completion are required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required.

Schedule Details

  • Classes are scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM.
  • The program covers Aviation, Drama, and Chemistry for grades K–5.
  • Class dates run from September through October 2026.
  • The site is in Haworth, New Jersey.

Compensation

  • Compensation is $60 per hour of class.
  • Compensation is provided per class or assignment, including mini camps and field trips.
