About The Job

Your role

• will involve organizing and leading a variety of engaging activities, games, and educational programs that cater to the needs and interests of our young guests.
• The Kids Club Animator reports to the Assistant Director of Leisure and Activities.
• As a
• Kids Club Animator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
• Plan and execute a diverse range of fun and age-appropriate activities for children, including seasonal camps activities and arts and crafts, games, sports, and interactive learning experiences.
• Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere within the Kids Club to ensure children feel comfortable and excited to participate in activities.
• Foster positive and nurturing relationships with children, promoting a sense of trust and security while providing emotional support when needed.
• Monitor and supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized Kids Club area, including setting up and cleaning up after activities, sanitizing toys and equipment, and ensuring a safe environment.
• Adhere to the daily schedule and routines of the Kids Club, including snack times, rest periods, and transition times.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians, providing updates on their children's participation, daily activities, and any important information or concerns.
• Implement positive behaviour management techniques to address challenging behaviours and encourage a respectful and cooperative atmosphere among children.
• Collaborate with other Kids Club Animators and staff to coordinate activities, share ideas, and create memorable experiences for children.
• Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities related to childcare, safety, and program enhancements.
• As a Kids Club Animator, We Expect From You
• Previous experience in the same role in luxury property, resort experience is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving, customer service and professional attitude
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is preferred.
• Basic first aid knowledge preferred
