Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced **Key Account Manager (KAM)** to drive the growth of **Aqara Smart Home and Smart Building solutions** across the UAE market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in **IoT, Smart Home, or telecom enterprise sales**, with proven experience managing key accounts such as **telcos, developers, system integrators, and government entities**.

This role will focus on **account development, solution selling, and ecosystem partnerships**, supporting JST’s strategic expansion in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

------------------------

1. Account Management & Business Development

  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts including **telcos , real estate developers, hospitality groups, and system integrators**
  • Identify new business opportunities for **Aqara Smart Home / Smart Office solutions**
  • Develop account plans and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned strategic clients

2. Solution Selling

  • Promote Aqara’s full ecosystem including:
  • + Smart home automation (lighting, curtain, sensors)
  • + Energy-saving solutions (20–25% efficiency improvement)
  • + Smart building / hospitality solutions
  • Understand client requirements and propose **end-to-end IoT solutions**
  • Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver customized proposals

3. Partner & Ecosystem Development

  • Develop partnerships with:
  • + Telecom operators
  • + Real estate developers
  • + Smart building integrators
  • Drive co-selling opportunities and joint go-to-market initiatives
  • Support channel partners in closing deals

4. Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, logistics) to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Follow up on project progress, client satisfaction, and after-sales support

5. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor UAE smart home and IoT market trends
  • Provide insights on competitors, pricing, and customer needs
  • Support management in shaping go-to-market strategies

Experience

  • Minimum **5 years of sales / account management experience in the UAE**
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following:
  • + Smart Home / IoT solutions
  • + Telecom enterprise sales
  • + System integration / ELV / smart building
  • Strong network with UAE stakeholders (developers, telcos, enterprises)

Skills

  • Strong **B2B solution selling capability**
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage complex, long sales cycles
  • Commercial awareness and contract negotiation experience
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to work independently

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field

Preferred

  • Experience working with **Aqara ecosystem** or similar platforms (Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings)
  • Experience working with UAE government or large enterprise accounts
  • Arabic speaking is a plus
