Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct karate classes in schools as part of after-school enrichment programs.
• Travel to assigned school locations as per schedule.
• Teach basic to intermediate karate techniques appropriate for children aged 4–15.
• Instill discipline, respect, and confidence through martial arts training.
• Ensure student safety and proper use of techniques and equipment.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
• Maintain attendance records and report to program coordinator.
• Collaborate with school staff and program management as needed.

Requirements

• Black belt or equivalent certification in Karate.
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching karate, preferably to children.
• Prior experience working in schools or with after-school programs is a plus.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate children.
• Reliable means of transportation to travel between schools.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.
• Must pass background and child safety checks.
