About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and experienced Ballet Coach to join our team and inspire young learners through the art of dance.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical ballet knowledge, classroom management skills, and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for children of different age groups and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct ballet classes for students of various age groups and abilities.
- Teach ballet techniques, posture, flexibility, coordination, rhythm, and performance skills.
- Prepare students for stage performances, showcases, competitions, and examinations where applicable.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Develop creative choreography and routines for performances and events.
- Maintain discipline and encourage confidence, teamwork, and self-expression among students.
- Collaborate with management and other instructors for events, schedules, and curriculum planning.
- Ensure all sessions follow health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Ballet Coach, Dance Instructor, or related role.
- Formal training or certification in Ballet/Dance is preferred.
- Strong understanding of ballet techniques and child development.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work with children aged 4 years and above.
- Energetic, patient, and passionate about teaching dance.
- Previous experience in schools, academies, or extracurricular programs is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of contemporary or other dance forms is a plus.
- Performance and choreography experience.
- First Aid certification is an advantage.
- Ability to engage students in a fun and motivating manner.
