• The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
• Support the management of daily kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
• Supervise assigned kitchen section(s), maintaining excellence in food quality, presentation, portion control, stock management, and cleanliness standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop culinary team members through hands-on training, guidance, and performance support to maintain operational excellence.
• Monitor and enforce food safety, hygiene, grooming, and health & safety standards in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in controlling food costs, minimizing waste, and optimizing kitchen resources while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Stay current with culinary trends and techniques, contributing innovative ideas to enhance menu offerings and overall kitchen performance.

About You

• The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
• Strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead, coach, and support kitchen teams in a fast-paced operation.
• 3–5 years of experience in a Junior Sous Chef role or a similar position within luxury hospitality or high-end restaurant environments.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
• Completion of a Culinary Arts training programme from a reputable institution is considered an advantage.
