Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Graphic Designer role based in Dubai.
The Junior Graphic Designer will support the design team in producing visual assets for digital and print materials, including marketing collateral, social media graphics, internal communications, and presentations.
The role involves creating layouts, refining designs based on feedback, preparing files for production, and ensuring brand consistency across all visual outputs.
The designer will collaborate with marketing, operations, and other stakeholders to translate concepts and briefs into clear, engaging visuals that reflect Valtrans’ brand standards.
The position also includes assisting with visual updates to signage, wayfinding systems, and other customer-facing materials related to transportation and hospitality services.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear, visually compelling assets.
- Skills in Logo Design and Branding to support brand development, refinement, and consistent application across channels.
- Proficiency in Typography, with an eye for hierarchy, readability, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Experience using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent) and basic knowledge of preparing files for print and digital use.
- Portfolio demonstrating creative work across digital and print formats, preferably including branding or corporate communication projects.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and openness to feedback in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines on-site.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
