Junior Estimator - Interior Fit-Out

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions to define scope; conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and quotations; calculate material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Identify scope gaps and cost risks, and price variations and additional work.
• Source materials and supplier/subcontractor quotations, then negotiate prices and delivery terms.
• Prepare purchase orders within approved budgets and coordinate material approvals with the Project Manager.
• Place orders, track deliveries, resolve shortages and incorrect deliveries, and arrange replacements.
• Monitor procurement costs against budgets and maintain purchasing records.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of UAE fit-out estimation, BOQ preparation, and procurement experience.
• Independently prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and accurate cost estimates.
• Practical knowledge of finishes, joinery, MEP, and renovation works.
• Knowledge of UAE suppliers, subcontractors, and market rates.
• Excel skills and ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
• Negotiation and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Relevant degree or diploma. A valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
• Zoho Books or similar software familiarity is advantageous.
• English is required.

Pay

• AED 5,000 per month.
