Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Abu Dhabi for a Junior Estimation and Procurement Engineer.
The role involves preparing cost estimates, analyzing bids, sourcing suppliers, and processing purchase orders.
Key responsibilities
also include evaluating suppliers, managing requests for quotations (RFQs), maintaining procurement records, and collaborating with internal teams to support project execution.
The position requires a strong focus on cost efficiency and resource management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes
- Experience in issuing and managing Purchase Orders
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate project costs and procurement options
- Excellent Communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Educational background in Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with technical contracting or construction industry standards is an advantage
- Proficiency in procurement software or tools is desired
