Role overview
Junior Controlling Analyst role in Givaudan’s Finance team, based in Dubai and reporting to the regional Business Controller.
Supports financial analysis, reporting, and insights for decision-making, cost control, and business performance management.

Financial reporting and analysis
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
- Monitor costs, margins, and financial performance against targets, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Provide accurate financial insights for business decisions.
- Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in reporting.
Planning and performance management
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Track financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Contribute to management reports and performance reviews.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Business partnering and process support
- Partner with finance and business stakeholders on analysis and recommendations.
- Support compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory requirements, as well as audits and finance governance.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization in controlling and reporting.
- Use digital reporting tools and support financial dashboards and performance-tracking tools.
- Contribute to best-practice sharing and continuous improvement.
Professional profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, business analytics, or a similar finance role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and related reporting tools.
- Experience with SAP or Oracle is preferred.
- Knowledge of Tableau, BOA, or similar business intelligence tools is a plus.
- CA, CMA, CFA, ACCA, or CPA certifications are a plus.
- Structured, highly accountable, detail-oriented, disciplined, and data-driven approach to work.
