Junior Consultant Interventional Radiology-Private Healthcare Sector
About This Role
SearchPlus HR is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Consultant in Interventional Radiology to join the Private Healthcare Sector. In this role, you will perform image-guided minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, working closely with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams. You will have the chance to expand your clinical skills while contributing to high-quality patient care and innovative treatment solutions.
Key Responsibilities* Assist in and perform interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of senior consultants.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies to aid in treatment planning.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and procedural documentation.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure patient and staff safety during procedures.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) with appropriate postgraduate training in radiology.
- Eligibility or progress towards certification in interventional radiology.
- Basic experience or exposure to interventional radiology procedures is preferred.
- Strong understanding of imaging modalities and diagnostic techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to maintain precise documentation.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced private healthcare setting.
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to best clinical practices.
