Job Summary We are seeking a qualified Junior Audit Analyst with hands-on experience in Qatar and exposure to government or semi-government entities. The candidate will support audit engagements, assess internal controls, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and governance frameworks. This role requires a certified professional with strong analytical capabilities and fluency in Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of internal audit assignments in line with approved audit plans
• Review financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory and government standards
• Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and recommend practical improvements
• Prepare high-quality audit documentation, working papers, and draft reports
• Assist in communicating audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal departments and relevant government entities when required
• Monitor and follow up on audit observations to ensure timely closure
• Ensure adherence to audit methodologies, policies, and professional standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience within Qatar (mandatory)
• Proven exposure to government or semi-government organizations (mandatory)
• Professional certification is mandatory (ACCA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent – fully or partially qualified)
• Good understanding of auditing standards, risk management, and compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel

Skills & Competencies

• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be locally available in Qatar
• Immediate or short notice period is preferred
