Junior Android Developer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Build new Android features using clean, efficient Kotlin or Java code.
• Identify and fix bugs, resolve app crashes, and optimize performance.
• Integrate applications with backend systems through RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with designers and product managers.
• Assist with preparing and publishing updates to the Google Play Store.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have 1 to 2 years of professional Android application development experience.
• Have strong foundational knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
• Understand the Android lifecycle, activities, fragments, and basic UI design.
• Have basic Git experience and familiarity with Retrofit or Volley.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or have equivalent practical experience.

Technical Knowledge

• Frameworks and platforms include Android SDK and AndroidX/Jetpack.
• Languages and UI technologies include Kotlin, Java, XML, and ViewBinding.
• Architecture and API technologies include MVVM, Retrofit, REST, and JSON.
• Database technologies include Room, SQLite, Firebase, Firestore, and Realtime Database.
• Other technologies include collections, coroutines, Git, and GitHub.
• Play Store knowledge includes app releases, AAB/APK, signing and keystores, versioning, testing, and production deployment.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹300,000 to ₹500,000 per year.
