Job Summary
Opal Food Concepts LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Junior Accounts Executive** to join our Finance team.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile customer, supplier, and bank accounts.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules as required.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Monitor petty cash and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
- Assist in VAT-related documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Support external audits by preparing the required documents.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **1–3 years of accounting experience** (experience in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry is an advantage).
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a valid UAE Spouse Visa.
- Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
