Role Scope
The Junior Accountant will support the Finance Department in managing day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on the
Receivable Section
.
The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing receipts, and ensuring timely reconciliation of customer payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain receipt vouchers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Receive, verify, and record customer payments.
- Handle cash and cheque receipts and hand them over as per company procedures.
- Maintain proper records and filing of all receivable transactions.
- Assist in accounts receivable reconciliation and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Support month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve payment-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (Speaking & Writing) is mandatory.
