- Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable and general ledger activities.
- Support month-end closing by preparing journal entries, schedules, and reconciliations.
- Book supplier invoices in the accounting system accurately.
- Ensure invoices comply with VAT and company documentation requirements.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate and resolve variances promptly.
- Preparing and booking of monthly accruals.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain correct and timely tax invoices
- Payment processing and ensure payments are made as per agreed terms
- Perform basic reconciliations of vendor accounts, bank statements, P&L and balance sheet items
- Monthly review of all the TBs for the business and ensuring that all the necessary entries have been booked, i.e., revenues, accruals, etc.
- Assist in preparation of financial reports and audit schedules
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and Delegation of Authority (DOA)
- Lending hand to the finance team with regard to other financial reporting and statutory audit activities.
Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Sharp time management skills
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
- BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Fluent in English and Arabic (
