Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will support the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Assist in preparing weekly, monthly and annual financial reports.
- Support VAT documentation and compliance requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software like ODOO and ZOHO.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
