Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions, bookkeeping, and financial records; prepare and process sales and purchase invoices.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable; reconcile bank statements and supplier and customer accounts.
- Track project expenses, costs, budgets, and profitability; monitor payments, collections, and outstanding balances.
- Assist with monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Prepare VAT-related records and coordinate UAE VAT filing.
- Maintain audit and financial review documentation; ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal project teams about payments and invoices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience; experience in interior design, fit-out, construction, or contracting is preferred.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and accounting practices.
- Experience with Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software; strong MS Excel knowledge.
- Attention to detail and numerical accuracy, organizational and communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred qualifications
- Project costing and job-wise accounting experience is preferred.
- Construction or interior design material purchasing and supplier account experience is preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
