Junior Accountant and Receptionist
About This Role
Cherry Tree Nursery is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Accountant & Receptionist to join our team. This dual-role position requires someone who can confidently manage the front desk while supporting daily accounting tasks in a busy nursery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Front Desk (Primary Role)
- Welcome parents, visitors, and children in a warm and professional manner
- Handle phone calls, inquiries, and admissions queries
- Manage front desk operations and maintain a well-organized reception area
- Coordinate communication between parents and staff
- Maintain records of attendance, inquiries, and basic administrative tasks
Accounting Support
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and financial record-keeping
- Handle fee collection follow-ups and receipts
- Assist in invoice processing and documentation
- Help with bank reconciliation and basic reports
- Maintain organized financial files and records
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting and/or receptionist/admin role
- UAE experience in a nursery is mandatory
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude
Preferred
- Female candidates only
- Experience in a school/nursery environment
- Familiarity with 'Illumine'
- Immediate joiners preferred
Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
