Role Overview
The employer is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant.
The role supports financial transactions, daily accounting tasks, fixed and variable expenses, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
Immediate joining is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with maintaining balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Ensure compliance with Qatari financial regulations and standards.
- Support VAT and tax payment processing and reporting where applicable.
- Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and filing systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant or Junior Accountant.
- Basic knowledge of accounting regulations and standards in Qatar.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Availability for immediate joining in Qatar.
