Junior Proposal & Estimation Engineer role focused on metallic and non-metallic piping projects.

Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant piping-project experience.
- Experience in cost estimation, proposals, tendering, and quotations for metallic and non-metallic piping systems.
- Good planning, coordination, communication, and written and spoken English skills.
Preferred qualifications and skills
- Strong understanding of piping fabrication and site installation activities.
- Piping-system experience, ability to read engineering drawings and specifications, and knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office are preferred.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and numerically skilled candidates are preferred.
- Piping, pipeline, oil and gas, industrial, or EPC project experience is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Review tender documents, RFQs, drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and relevant process, piping, structural, and mechanical requirements.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, quotations, bid documents, cost breakdowns, and commercial summaries for piping projects.
- Calculate resources and estimate costs for fabrication, testing, coating, site erection, installation, and pre-commissioning.
- Prepare profit breakdowns and calculate expected or average order profit after award.
- Coordinate technical matters with production and fabrication teams and follow up with clients and EPC contractors.
- Maintain records of submitted quotations, estimates, and tender documents.
