Support Accounting and Finance initiatives in collaboration with multiple departments.
What you'll be doing
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual budget, forecast, and results analysis.
- Analyze business-unit financial performance and summarize findings.
- Collect and analyze data to detect trends and extrapolate impacts.
- Prepare and maintain budget and projection files and models.
- Engage with stakeholders about business activities and initiatives.
- Support and document process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial-close reports for Accounting.
- Support ad hoc projects as required.
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration with a Finance or Accounting specialization.
- One to two years of related work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Nice-to-have skills
- Knowledge of Power BI, Looker, or other analytical tools is an asset.
- Knowledge of SQL is an asset.
