Technical Drawing

• Create accurate and detailed technical drawings of joinery elements, including cabinets, doors, windows, and custom-made furniture. Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
• Prepare shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Design Coordination:
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand the overall design concept and requirements.
• Propose joinery solutions that align with the design vision and meet functional needs.
• Coordinate with other trades involved in the project to ensure seamless integration of joinery elements.
• Material Selection:
• Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for joinery components.
• Consider factors such as durability, aesthetics, and budget when making material choices.
• Quantity Takeoffs:
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs for joinery materials and components.
• Provide cost estimates for joinery work based on quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
• Site Visits:
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements, review existing conditions, and address any issues related to joinery installation.
• Project Management:
• Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring that joinery work is completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor the progress of joinery fabrication and installation, resolving any issues that may arise.

Qualifications And Education

• Diploma or equivalent

Skills And Experience

• Proven experience as a draughtsman in the Joinery and interior fit-out industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Deep understanding of interior fit-out and joinery processes, materials, and construction techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• 4-6 years of Joinery Draughting experience in the GCC/UAE is mandatory.
