Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications.
• Prepare and maintain application and system documentation.
• Improve code quality and optimize application performance in collaboration with Quality Assurance.
• Contribute to architecture and system design for scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Lead the full software lifecycle across design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor team members, review code, and ensure best-practice adherence.
• Communicate status, issues, and risks with product managers and stakeholders.
• Improve enterprise application stability while minimizing operational impact.
• Ensure applications meet security and data protection standards.
• Adopt best practices and innovation to improve productivity and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong Java proficiency, including enterprise frameworks.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate-based applications.
• Strong understanding of OOP, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Amazon RDS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab, Maven, and DevOps build and dependency-management practices.
• Experience with automation tools and AI assistants, plus conceptual understanding of generative AI development workflows.

Experience Requirements

• Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• Parking industry experience is highly desirable.

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with TDD, JMeter, and unit and integration testing practices.
