Role Overview

This is a contractual role requiring expertise in Japanese financial documentation to process and validate financial contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and translate financial contracts, agreements, and reports written in Japanese to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Verify numerical data, payment terms, and legal clauses in documents to mitigate risks associated with misinterpretation or errors.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to resolve discrepancies in financial documentation and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain organized records of all processed documents, ensuring traceability and accessibility for audits or future reference.
  • Communicate directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements, confirm details, and facilitate smooth contract execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English, with demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial terminology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial document processing, contract review, or related roles within finance, legal, or compliance departments.
  • Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to identify discrepancies and errors in financial documents.
  • Experience working with financial contracts, invoices, or regulatory filings in Japanese and English.
  • Familiarity with standard financial software or document management systems for tracking and processing records.
