Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review images and videos within your STEM expertise, identifying key concepts and intricate details to improve AI training data quality.
• Develop challenging, insightful questions that require genuine subject-matter expertise to answer, ensuring the highest standards for AI evaluation.
• Tag each annotated task by appropriate category and subcategory to enable precise expert routing and streamline AI training processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other domain experts and AI teams to refine training methodologies and enhance model performance.
• Provide detailed feedback on AI-generated outputs, helping identify areas for improvement in reasoning and accuracy.
• Mentor junior contributors and maintain self-management in a remote, flexible work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in a STEM discipline (e.g., science, technology, engineering, or mathematics), with a minimum of 3 years of professional or academic experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for AI training purposes.
• Proficiency in instructional design or curriculum development, with an understanding of how to structure knowledge for machine learning applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate domain-specific feedback effectively.
• Experience with educational technology, data analysis, or literature review is desirable but not required.
• Ability to work independently with strong self-management skills in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address nuanced challenges in AI training data.
