IT Technician role assisting with ELV system installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
Experience and qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a relevant position is requested.
- Zero to two years of ELV experience is preferred; freshers with relevant technical training or IT/ELV education may be considered.
- Experience with CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, or networking is preferred.
Required and advantageous skills
- Basic understanding of ELV systems, hand tools, and testing equipment is required.
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork are requested.
- Networking and IP-address knowledge, ability to read basic ELV drawings, and a UAE driving license are advantages.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with CCTV, access control, intercom, structured cabling, SMATV, AV, and other ELV systems.
- Pull, route, terminate, and label CAT6/network and other ELV cables.
- Install cameras, access-control devices, sensors, speakers, racks, switches, and related equipment.
- Test equipment, troubleshoot ELV and connectivity issues, and follow drawings, layouts, schedules, and instructions.
- Maintain cable management and labeling; support site surveys and prepare basic installation/testing reports.
- Follow safety rules and company procedures; coordinate with senior technicians and site teams.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role with in-person work at construction or project sites.
