We are seeking a skilled and motivated **IT Technical Support Officer** to provide technical assistance and support to our organization.
The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist users with hardware, software, and network-related problems.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and system permissions
- Monitor and maintain IT systems and network performance
- Support email systems, Office applications, and operating systems
- Assist in IT infrastructure setup and maintenance
- Perform system updates, backups, and routine maintenance
- Log and track issues using a ticketing system
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Strong customer service orientation
Preferred
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.)
- Experience with IT ticketing systems
- Knowledge of basic cybersecurity practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
