We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Systems & Infrastructure Specialist to lead and manage the organisation’s entire IT ecosystem. This is a strategic role, not a typical help-desk position. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions across offices and project sites in the UAE. You will be the primary technical authority for endpoints, networks, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to optimise internal IT capabilities, reduce reliance on external vendors, and lead digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Endpoint Lifecycle Management

• Commission new laptops/workstations and perform OS installation, updates, security baseline configuration, and asset registration.
• Securely wipe, reimage, and redeploy existing hardware, maintaining a live asset register.
• Define and enforce standard operating environments (SOE) for consistency across all devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and manage vendor warranty escalations.

Network Deployment & Security (Office & Site)

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure office and project-site networks, including LAN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Implement network segmentation, guest access, IoT device management, and failover connectivity.
• Ensure content filtering, security policies, and site-specific network monitoring.
• Produce and maintain as-built network diagrams and documentation.

Microsoft 365 Migration & Administration

• Lead migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 (email, files, calendars, Teams).
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant: user provisioning/deprovisioning, Entra ID (Azure AD), license management, and conditional access policies.
• Configure Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online for optimal collaboration and security.

Power Platform & Custom Application Development

• Build low-code/no-code apps using Power Apps, automate workflows with Power Automate, and develop management dashboards in Power BI.
• Prioritise automation of manual or spreadsheet-based processes (timesheets, onboarding, inspections, reporting).
• Maintain application documentation and evaluate build-vs-buy decisions to optimise internal development costs.

Cybersecurity Governance & Threat Management

• Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies aligned with ISO 27001 or UAE ISR framework.
• Deploy endpoint protection (EPP/EDR) and manage Microsoft Secure Score improvements.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, maintain incident response plans, and report emerging threats.

User Onboarding & Training

• Manage IT onboarding and offboarding workflows, including account creation, platform access, device allocation, and training.
• Deliver structured digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness programs for staff.
• Maintain training records, SOPs, guides, and reference materials for recurring IT processes.

Requirements

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent experience considered.
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-102) or equivalent.
• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) required; M365 Administrator Expert (MS-102) preferred.
• Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) or Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) preferred.
• Networking & Security certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT support and infrastructure experience.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 tenant, Power Platform apps, and enterprise networks.
• Proven experience with Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations preferred.
• Experience in engineering, construction, or technical services environments is a plus.

• Adaptable for both office and remote/project-site settings.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Valid UAE driving licence; willingness to travel to project sites.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,250.00 per month
