Overview
IT Support Specialist – Techificent LLC (Doha, Qatar)
Techificent LLC is seeking a skilled and customer-focused **IT Support Specialist** to join our team in Doha.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner, both onsite and remotely.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control across company systems.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and other business applications.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and servers.
- Perform system updates, backups, and security checks to ensure data integrity.
- Document issues, solutions, and IT procedures in the support ticketing system.
- Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Provide end-user training and guidance when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure, or cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of firewall and antivirus management.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
