Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to maintain and support our organization's IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage network resources, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and connectivity problems.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and support activities.
  • Assist in implementing new technologies and IT projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of help desk ticketing systems.
