About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to end users, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across our Doha offices.
The ideal candidate will resolve hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, and contribute to IT improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first- and second-line technical support for Windows, macOS, and common business applications.
Troubleshoot hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals) and network connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and update software, drivers, and security patches.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and email setups (Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
Maintain and document IT inventory, assets, and support tickets in the helpdesk/CRM.
Perform regular backups, system monitoring, and basic server support.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding, including device provisioning and access setup.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors and follow through to resolution.
Support IT projects, deployments, and documentation of procedures and knowledge-base articles.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security best practices.
Requirements
1–3 years of IT support or technical helpdesk experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, Microsoft 365, and common business software.
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and troubleshooting skills.
Experience
with Active Directory, user account management, and permission control.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk) and IT asset management.
Good problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.
Relevant certifications preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications.
Ability to work independently and within a team; flexible to occasional after-hours support.
Valid Qatar work authorization (or eligibility to work in Qatar).
Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
