Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 8–12 years in IT strategy, IT governance, or digital transformation.
- At least five years in a managerial role.
- Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Lead development, implementation, and periodic review of the Bank’s IT Strategy, aligning it with business objectives, regulations, and technology priorities.
- Develop multi-year IT roadmaps and annual strategic plans that translate business priorities into actionable technology initiatives.
- Establish and monitor strategic KPIs, performance dashboards, and execution frameworks.
- Track initiative milestones, dependencies, risks, and benefits realization; recommend corrective action as needed.
- Prepare executive reports, strategic performance updates, and management presentations for IT leadership and the IT Steering Committee.
- Coordinate with EPMO, IT departments, and business stakeholders on strategic alignment, prioritization, and governance.
- Assess AI, cloud computing, automation, and data analytics opportunities for innovation and digital transformation.
- Support governance of Core Banking Modernization, Cloud Adoption, AI, and Testing Center of Excellence initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with the IT Strategy Governance Framework, internal policies, regulations, and applicable international standards.
- Coordinate strategic planning workshops, governance meetings, and stakeholder engagement to align IT capabilities and business priorities.
