Experienced IT sourcing consultant sought to lead a sole-source procurement process for a cloud-based licensing and enforcement system.
The assignment is eight weeks at 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage sole-source IT procurement and required documentation.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate pricing, contracts, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, project teams, and suppliers.
- Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare technical documentation and gather requirements.
- Conduct project closure and lessons-learned reviews.
Required qualifications
- At least 8 years of procurement and supplier management experience, including cloud solutions.
- At least 8 years of contract and vendor negotiation experience.
- At least 8 years of technical writing and requirements gathering experience.
- Must physically reside in the United States throughout the assignment.
- Must be available 20 hours per week for the full eight-week assignment.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of Virginia public procurement laws is preferred.
- Familiarity with VITA cloud-hosted security requirements is preferred.
- Local Richmond candidates are preferred.
Interview process
