IT, Network Engineer 4

Lead F5 BIG-IP technologies (LTM/GTM), developing iRules, SSL offload, health monitors and traffic policies to optimize application delivery and traffic management.

Implement and evolve network security architecture (firewalls, VPNs, segmentation/micro-segmentation) across on-prem and cloud environments, while troubleshooting network issues, conducting rule reviews, maintaining documentation, managing upgrades, and collaborating cross-functionally to stay current with emerging threats and technologies.

Evaluate and recommend Network tools/technologies; develop standards, policies, and documentation; provide technical leadership through architecture reviews and mentoring.

Design, build, and maintain network infrastructures for a complex research and teaching environment; track and respond to emerging threats. Required Skills and Abilities 1.Well-developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

3.Proven ability to lead and manage staff.

4.Proven expertise with systems analysis methods and techniques.
