InfasME is a UAE-based ECM, intelligent document processing and AI-solutions company and Hyland partner, delivering across the UAE, Egypt, Kuwait and West Africa.
We're hiring an IT Governance Specialist to embed with a flagship Dubai government client.
📌 Role: IT Governance Specialist
- 📍 Dubai, UAE · Onsite
- 🧭 5–8 years · Full-time · IT governance for a major Dubai government entity
- You'll own the documentation methodology and governance reporting that keeps a large IT function running clean — shaping the operating model, standardising policies and procedures, and giving senior management the visibility they need to steer.
- You'll be the connective tissue between delivery teams, internal control functions and external auditors.
- 🔧 What you'll do:
- Shape the IT operating model and support documentation of the IT strategy
- Run process maturity assessments, remediation and re-engineering
- Monitor the IT Service Catalog — performance metrics and service reviews
- Act as the interface for internal and external (government) audits
- Track vendor performance and produce reporting for senior management
- Build and monitor KPI dashboards and governance forum reporting
- Coordinate budget plans, utilisation tracking and IT RFP execution
- 💻 Technical skills we're after:
- Working knowledge of COBIT, TOGAF and ITIL frameworks
- Experience with SDLC, software product development and Agile practices
- Familiarity with ISO 27K, ISO 9K and Dubai ISR standards
- 🌟 What else we're looking for:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Solid problem-solving mindset and a get-it-done work ethic
- Comfortable engaging all levels — from delivery teams to external vendors
- Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, Business or equivalent
