Role overview

T-Tech is seeking an IT Field Engineer to support a key client from Belfast.

The role provides 2nd line service desk support and resolves escalated technical issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Own technical issues, investigate root causes, and deliver timely resolutions.
  • Troubleshoot networks, servers, applications, hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Build effective relationships with client stakeholders and the client IT team.
  • Maintain incident records and prepare reports on trends and recurring issues.
  • Identify service improvements and stay current with technology and industry practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a 2nd line support role is required.
  • Fast-paced environment experience is preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, networks, and servers is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills are required.
  • ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
