IT Engineer - L2/L3

MedTech IT Solutions LLC OPC is looking for an experienced and technically strong IT Engineer – L2/L3 to provide advanced IT support and infrastructure services for our clients in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, FortiGate firewalls, virtualization, backup solutions, endpoint security, and advanced troubleshooting.

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for client IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex server, network, firewall, desktop, email, and application issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, user accounts, permissions, and access control.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Outlook, OneDrive, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Configure and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, VPN, VLAN, NAT, routing, and firewall policies.
• Configure and support switches, wireless access points, routers, and LAN/WAN networks.
• Manage Hyper-V and virtualization environments.
• Manage NAS, server backups, restoration testing, and disaster recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot server hardware, RAID, storage, SSD/HDD, and operating system issues.
• Support Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems.
• Manage antivirus/EDR, endpoint security, patching, and system hardening.
• Troubleshoot printers, scanners, CCTV, telephony, and other IT devices.
• Support EMR/HIS servers and coordinate with software vendors when required.
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular IT health checks for clients.
• Handle onsite installations, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and emergency support.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring technical problems and implement permanent solutions.
• Guide L1 engineers and junior technical staff during escalated cases.
• Maintain proper technical documentation, network diagrams, asset records, service reports, and change records.
• Support cybersecurity implementation and vulnerability remediation.
• Assist with ADHICS technical control implementation, audit evidence, CAPA activities, and audit readiness where required.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Networking, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant IT infrastructure and technical support experience.
• Strong practical L2/L3 troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.
• Good English communication and client-handling skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple support cases.
• Willingness to travel to client locations when required.
• UAE experience preferred.
• UAE driving licence will be a strong advantage.

Microsoft, Fortinet, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Windows Server, or other cybersecurity certifications will be an advantage.

This is a hands-on technical role.

Candidates must be comfortable working both onsite and remotely, handling escalated technical issues, supporting multiple clients, and taking ownership of problems until final resolution.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
