The IT Engineer will install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks, provide user support, and help ensure IT infrastructure health and security.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first-line support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues by phone, email, or in person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment; set up workstations, servers, and other IT equipment.
- Keep systems updated with security patches and updates, and implement and manage security protocols to safeguard data and infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and document issues and solutions.
- Track and manage IT inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and equipment.
- Perform regular data backups and assist with recovery after system failure or data loss.
- Maintain IT process and configuration records and create or update procedures and user guides.
Qualifications
- A Polytechnic Diploma in IT, ITI Diploma, or B-Tech qualification.
- Home-country experience is stated as required; the posting also says freshers can apply.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to IT challenges.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,000–3,200 per month.
