IT Coordinator - UAE National

Job purpose

Responsibilities

• Support IT shared services and systems tasks and maintain central documentation and process adherence.
• Assist with policy and configuration reviews and implementation for end-user computing systems.
• Coordinate assigned tasks with business teams, IT teams, and suppliers.
• Support handling of priority 1 and priority 2 incidents and service requests.
• Prepare PowerPoint and Excel reports for daily operational needs.
• Assess hardware and application requirements and facilitate approved technology and service acquisition.
• Monitor team plans, projects, and activities and coordinate corrective action as needed.
• Coordinate hardware configuration and application testing, approvals, and installations.
• Coordinate server, PC, POS, and peripheral installations and provide go-live support.
• Provide periodic operations reports and timely updates on high-priority concerns.
• Configure, administer, and manage allocated Al Tayer Group systems.

Education and experience

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science from a recognized university.
• ITIL.
• Zero to two years of IT industry experience in a multiuser commercial environment.
• Knowledge of Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems; Office 365 or Google productivity suites; and network and compute stacks such as domains, TCP, and web servers.
• Understanding of common IT infrastructure, including networking, routing, switching, firewalls, network monitoring and management, servers, cloud, and SD-WAN.
