Company Overview

Job Purpose

Business Relationship and Planning

• Develop the IT business relationship framework across automotive entities.
• Establish customer priorities for new or changed products and services in alignment with business outcomes.
• Mediate stakeholder requirements, handle complaints and escalations, and track customer and technology trends.
• Map business processes and entity requirements to IT initiatives.
• Establish, analyze, align, and prioritize the master IT project portfolio.

Technology, Vendors, and Services

• Track automotive technology innovations and future roadmaps and assess technical and commercial viability.
• Maintain strong relationships with automotive vendors and promote their technology best practices.
• Manage relationships with vendors of automotive core solutions, portals, and mobile applications.
• Oversee IT service operations, service health, service-level agreements, and escalations.
• Develop and review architecture documents for the entity’s IT services and application landscape.

Governance and Change

• Identify, assess, respond to, and control risks and issues.
• Enforce central IT policies, processes, and standards within the entity.
• Ensure efficient change-request flows and support regulatory compliance.
• Act as change manager and liaison between IT, end users, and management to drive system adoption.

Leadership and Improvement

• Manage a multidisciplinary IT team across on-site and offshore locations.
• Act as product manager for the main core solution, covering adoption, operations, documentation, roadmap, and security.
• Contribute to the strategic vision and budgets for IT services.
• Evaluate project utilization and benefits, capture lessons learned, and develop continual improvement plans.
• Provide user support, champion change efforts, and maximize the benefits of IT system adoption.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT field.
• 8-12 years of IT and business or industry work experience, including 4-6 years in a similar role in the UAE.
• Excellent automotive business acumen and knowledge of vehicle sales, spare parts, services, CRM, and finance.
• Good technical knowledge, database management, SQL Report Builder, architecture, and UAE automotive regulations.
• Automotive solutions such as Autoline, Autoline Drive, SAP DBM, or TitanDMS are an added value.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations.
