IT operations and infrastructure
- Assist in managing daily IT operations and ensure systems and infrastructure remain available, reliable, and performant.
- Oversee maintenance and support of servers, networks, computers, printers, software, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and coordinate preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and operational standards.
- Ensure IT systems operate smoothly across company offices and operational sites.
Networks, systems, and service delivery
- Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, and network-device administration and maintenance.
- Monitor connectivity, server performance, and system availability; coordinate with internet providers and vendors to resolve issues.
- Assist with user accounts, access permissions, configurations, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Coordinate the IT support team, prioritize critical incidents, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Monitor service desk response and resolution performance and guide employees across departments and locations.
Security, team, and projects
- Maintain IT security policies and monitor access, endpoint protection, antivirus, firewalls, and security updates.
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments, patching, incident response, backups, and disaster recovery testing; promote data-protection and IT-policy compliance.
- Assist with supervising IT personnel, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, coordinating vendors and service agreements, and supporting staff training.
- Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects; maintain IT documentation and prepare reports for management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience; IT operations, infrastructure, or systems administration experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, and infrastructure support.
- Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with virtualization, cloud platforms, backups, and disaster recovery; understanding of cybersecurity, access control, patch management, and IT compliance.
- Experience coordinating IT vendors, service contracts, and technical support teams; strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred; the posting also lists multi-site, ITSM, ticketing, asset management, budgeting, procurement, and infrastructure planning experience as preferred.
Certifications
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications, CCNA, ITIL, or equivalent are listed as preferred in the qualifications section.
