Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage accounting and finance activities for our farms business.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
1.
Manage day-to-day accounting: GL, journals, AR, AP, petty cash.
2.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and lead month-end close.
3.
Verify client/supplier invoices; coordinate payments and collections.
4.
Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) and monthly profit analysis.
5.
Ensure VAT/statutory compliance and support audits.
6.
Oversee inventory/stock accounting for farm produce and consumables.
7.
Supervise Accountant(s) and Accounts Clerk; maintain filing and housekeeping.
8.
Liaise with HR for payroll accruals/processing and with operations for budgeting/forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance.
Minimum 5 years’ accounting/finance experience (ERP experience preferred).
Strong UAE VAT knowledge, Excel proficiency and attention to detail.
Effective communicator with supervisory experience.
