Opportunity

The Network Engineering Team Lead provides technical leadership and day-to-day coordination of the Network Engineering team.

The team delivers and supports LAN, WAN, wireless, voice, and network security services for critical 24/7 business operations.

The role reports to the UK Infrastructure Manager and serves as the senior technical escalation point for network operations and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure reliable delivery, support, and continuous improvement of network services.
  • Govern key network technologies and promote best practice in service delivery, network security, change management, documentation, and operational support.
  • Work with IS management, business stakeholders, vendors, and the wider Infrastructure team on network modernisation, technical debt reduction, and technology adoption.
  • Ensure projects meet their time, budget, and quality targets.

What you need

  • Three A-levels or equivalent, or previous relevant experience in an IS network infrastructure role.
  • Significant experience in a busy IS network infrastructure environment across project delivery and support.
  • Experience providing technical guidance, mentoring, or acting as an escalation point.

Work details

  • Location: Craigavon.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
  • Open to internal and external candidates.
