Role Description
The Irrigation Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh.
This position oversees day-to-day irrigation operations, including monitoring system performance, scheduling watering cycles, and ensuring efficient water usage across assigned landscapes.
The role includes supervising field teams, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, and verifying that all irrigation work complies with safety and quality standards.
The Irrigation Supervisor will inspect equipment and pipelines, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain accurate records of system operation, maintenance, and resource consumption.
The position also works closely with facility management and client representatives to plan improvements, support project delivery, and optimize irrigation practices in line with environmental and operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and water conservation methods.
- Experience in supervising field staff, coordinating work schedules, and managing contractors or service providers.
- Ability to read and interpret irrigation drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Proficiency in using irrigation controllers, sensors, and related equipment; familiarity with basic troubleshooting tools.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to irrigation and facility operations.
- Good organizational, planning, and time-management skills to handle multiple sites and tasks.
- Effective communication skills to interact with teams, clients, and management in a clear and professional manner.
- Minimum of a technical diploma or relevant vocational qualification in irrigation, agriculture, horticulture, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience in facility management, landscaping projects, or infrastructure services in similar environments is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, adapt to outdoor conditions, and respond to operational needs on a flexible schedule when required.
