Join Apple's Creativity Apps team to build media management and collaboration features for creative tools.
Work with teams behind Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and iWork on tools for creators.
Role responsibilities
- Set the direction and architecture of new collaborative features for creative apps.
- Drive features from concept through delivery.
- Collaborate with human interface designers, quality assurance, and cross-functional teams.
- Influence user interface decisions and project planning.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience shipping high-quality, tested iOS and/or macOS code.
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns for Apple platforms, computer science fundamentals, and object-oriented design.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and at least one of SwiftUI, UIKit, or AppKit.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and own product features; strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Interest in Apple's creative apps, including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, iMovie, or GarageBand.
- Experience with Swift concurrency, including async/await and actors.
- Proficiency with Swift Testing and/or XCTest.
- Commitment to accessibility and localization.
Compensation and benefits
- The stated base pay range is $119,100 to $230,500; the description does not state a pay cadence.
